I met you as a baby at their apartment on Canfield, and now I work for a state rep who represents that area of Detroit. (The DIA is just outside our district boundaries.) I think I remember having tea with your parents at the DIA's Kresge Court (looks like a medieval courtyard, where they have live music.) The Rivera frescos have been meaningful for everyone in my family too, and I cannot imagine them selling the frescos. It's hard though, to know (and try to help) the many Detroiters that are struggling because their city is so dysfunctional now.
